DVR stands for Digital Video Recorder, it records video footage of CCTV cameras in HDD installed inside. This recording can be reviewed through playback with respect to date and time selected. Normally a date and time stamp is there on the footage which act as an evidence. DVR is the heart and brain both for CCTV cameras. Analague CCTV cameras can only record video footage only if cameras have been connected to DVR. DVR box is the device which is connected through internet to broadcast video. In DVR each camera each wire concept is there i.e. every camera’s wire has to reach and should be connected to DVR to display its video.
